Why You'll Love Your Apartment

Guanajuato Rentals offers 3 ideally located short-term vacation rental apartments in Guanajuato, Mexico. We are original and longest established vacation apartment rentals in Guanajuato. Hundreds of satisfied guests have stayed with us since 1999. If you plan stay in Guanajuato for 3 days or longer, you'll find more space and comforts in an apartment than you will in a hotel. Plus, we have accommodations to fit solo travelers, couples, and even small family reunions.

Location

You've no doubt seen the colorful houses dotting the hills of this city, and you'll appreciate that our 3 apartments are located at the bottom of the hill. You can enjoy the stunning views of the city without huffing and puffing your way home every evening.

Other conveniences include being just a 10-minute walk to the park and La Presa dam, where families congregate on weekends to enjoy the outdoor restaurants and paddle boats. Every morning you can buy freshly squeezed orange juice at the corner tienda and enjoy it on your private terrace as you listen to the birds sing.

If you like to hike, you can walk directly up the street to la Panoramica which circles the city and then hike the hills above, including the cross at the top of La Bufa. From there, you'll have a breaktaking view of the city and the entire valley.

You'll appreciate the close proximity of our apartments to the town during the day but the quiet solitude of being away from el centro as you drift off to sleep at night.

Amenities

You'll enjoy fast WiFi in every apartment along with a desk or workspace for your convenience (though we wouldn't blame you for choosing to surf the Internet on your private terrace instead). Two of our apartments have kitchenettes - the other units have full kitchens All are fully equipped and are perfect for preparing your morning coffee and enjoying the fresh foods available at Guanajuato's markets.

We have a self-service laundry on-site with new, large capacity US washer and dryer. Weekly [or more frequent] housekeeping services can be arranged.

Getting Around

From your apartment it is a leisurely, 15-20 minute stroll to -or- from town and along the way you'll be tempted by vendors offering fresh homemade cream and the vibrant Embajadoras market. Prefer to ride not walk? Then hop on one of the frequent buses that stop a minute from our main gate. All buses from la Presa head though el Centro Historico and the fare is only 5 pesos. Taxis:  The fare to most anywhere in town is only 35 pesos.

The intercity bus terminal [central camionera] is at the edge of town, a quick cab ride from your apartment and the place to begin side trips to surrounding sites - explore the arts and shopping in San Miguel de Allende, find the perfect pair or pairs shoes and other leather goods in León, or take in the historic sites in nearby Dolores Hidalgo.

Extras

Quinta Zaragoza's owners, Bill and Meow, have lived in Mexico for close to 19 years and have a great deal of knowledge about the area. You'll find out where to go, what to do, and what not to miss while you're here.

If you time your stay right you'll enjoy Bill's monthly pizza night, where he fires up the giant oven in the central courtyard and makes what many consider the best pizzas in GTO for all the guests. Visitors from all over the world come to the cultural city of Guanajuato, Mexico, so you never know what kind of fascinating people you'll meet!
